Refund Policy

Important: Refunds (if applicable) will be credited back to the original payment method used at the time of purchase. Refunds cannot be issued to a different card, bank account or wallet.

1. Scope

This policy applies to all payments made to the Centre for Research and Innovation Services (Guarantee) Ltd ("CRIS") through PayHere on crisglobal.org — including memberships, research ethics review applications and event registrations.

2. Individual & Organisational Membership

• Refundable in full within seven (7) days of payment, provided no member benefits have been used (no event access, no advisory session, no partnership introduction).
• Non-refundable after seven (7) days or once benefits are used.

3. Research Ethics Review (LKR 50,000)

• Full refund if you withdraw the application before assessors are assigned.
• 50% refund if you withdraw after initial screening but before the full committee review begins.
• Non-refundable once the review report is issued.

4. NEW2AN 2026 Registration (USD 100)

Conference registration refunds are governed by the cancellation schedule published on new2an.com. Where the conference schedule and this policy differ, the conference schedule prevails for NEW2AN payments.

5. Failed or duplicate payments

If PayHere reports a failed transaction but your card has been debited, contact us with the order reference and the debit will be traced and refunded to the original payment method.

6. How to request a refund

Email info@crisglobal.lk from the address used at checkout, quoting your CRIS order reference (begins with CRIS-) and the reason for the request.

7. Processing time

Approved refunds are processed within 7–14 business days to the original payment method. The time your bank takes to reflect the credit on your statement is outside our control.

8. Chargebacks

Please contact us before initiating a bank chargeback so we can resolve the issue directly. Fraudulent chargebacks may be reported to PayHere and to law-enforcement authorities.
